COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE

The Bachelor of Science in Architecture program of Lyceum of Subic Bay, Inc. (LSBI), aims to provide students, all-inclusive knowledge, relevant skills and trainings and professional mindset, within the scope and practice of Architecture. It is outlined to produce well-rounded graduates and competent architects, who can contribute to the enhancement of the built-in environment, promote sustainable development and conserve architectural heritage in accordance with the current challenges, global trends and technological advancements.

The Architecture program is comprised mainly of the technical, allied and professional subjects, designed to acquire relevant knowledge, develop creativity & skills of students per year level, which are outcomes-based in nature. Basically, architectural design subjects offers in ten (10) successive semesters, aim to have students learn to plan & design buildings & structures, from simple to complex types, such as residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and the likes. Among the other professional subjects are on building technology & utilities, urban design & planning, professional practice, history & theory of Architecture, basic engineering, and business & construction management.

Architecture Aptitude Comprehensive Examination is administered to 5th year level students to assess & validate knowledge gained about the program. Likewise, during this final year, students showcase everything learned during the past five (5) years of their study, through a Thesis Project.

Meanwhile, to ensure that architecture students are given each, the attention they deserve during the teaching-learning sessions, the school maintains a 1:20 faculty-student ratio only.
